The authors evaluated the proportion of ClinicalTrials.gov registered trials that are published in the peer-reviewed literature. Only a minority of clinical studies in cancer registered with ClinicalTrials.gov were published in peer-reviewed and other widely accessible journals, raising concern about the completeness of the available information on present and future cancer treatments.
